The AIMS Minute is back! We’ve gotten some great, positive responses to the AIMS Minute so far and we’ve been hard at work making lots more. This one is for teachers looking for a cool, quick idea for a simple manipulative that could have lots of different uses. Check it out:
You can get the template sheet for the straw plane for free, right here. The straw plane is used in the activity Straw Planes, a Measurement & Data activity you can find in the AIMS 5th Grade Common Core Math Activity Bundle, which features lots of great, helpful demonstration videos just like the AIMS Minute series.
