Awesome Isn’t Easy. 

It’s easy to work a job.

It’s easy to work extra hard and get promoted.

It’s easy to make a lot of money and live life on your own terms.

It’s easy to win at sports, fall in love, and live life to the fullest.

Awesome isn’t easy.

It’s hard to describe. Hard to explain. Hard to achieve. Harder still to repeat.

The truth about being awesome is that you’ll spend most of your life doing things that don’t feel awesome and certainly don’t look awesome to those around you.

Which is why you never end up doing something awesome.

What it takes to get there isn’t a price you’re willing to pay — which is the dirty little secret about why awesome isn’t easy.

It isn’t easy to look ridiculous

It isn’t easy to sound foolish. It isn’t easy to keep working long after those around you tell you it’s unsafe and unhealthy. It isn’t easy to stay focused when everyone else around you is telling you that “it will never work”.

Awesome is a choice. It’s a decision you make every waking moment.

You can either do the hard things that everyone else just makes excuses to avoid doing or you can get tough.

Ignore the doubters.

Turn off the pain. Don’t blink, back down, or let your dream get bullied by someone who doesn’t care about you being awesome.

Every moment matters. Make yours matter more.
