It’s hard to get things done when you don’t know what you want to do.

Even if you know what you want to do it’s difficult to achieve success when your life is a mess.

You need to have a plan to stay organized. When things are a mess you can’t think straight — let alone work smart.

Being more productive is something that we all think about. There’s only so much time in the day so getting things done is about quality and quantity.

The quantity of your time is fixed, so quality is ultimately what matters. Productivity and organization and planning combine to make you a superstar.

If you don’t have a routine, then create one. Wake up and get busy getting things done.

Instead of hoping you get something done, just get started doing what needs to be done.

Hard work, gritty tasks, and small victories lead to big success.

By the way, if you don’t have some way to stay organized you’re going to let a lot of opportunities go unclaimed.

You’re going to end up  looking like fool.

There’s no excuse for not following up or following through on the promises that you make.

If you’re a “pen and paper” sort of person then buy a Moleskin and write things down. If you’re a techie then use smart tools (like Wunderlist or Todoist) to keep you scheduled, alerted, and on task.

That means that you need a plan to help you remember what needs to be done each day.

Your brain is best used creating rather than remembering things.

There are dozens of free tools that can help you stay organized. They work from the web and your cell phone and maybe even a desktop application that runs on your laptop.

There’s no excuse for not writing things down and following through on what needs to be done.

Showing up is half the battle. Maybe even more than that. Maybe it’s the whole battle. Unorganized, chaotic, unplanned “success seeking” is for chumps.

Write things down. Have a plan to get them done. Improve what’s not working the way you want it to.

Be better. Dream bigger. Fail less.
