Hi All. Great session yesterday.

I am working on chopping the video so it will be in smaller chunks and I’m attempting to make it topic based.

Thanks to Lynn Lionhood and Barbara Wainright we have 3 new requests to be radio shows.

Big KUDOS to Jeff Norris, he was able to bring the development server online which means we can do livestreaming training

I have changed the name of the KPHRED Admin to KPHRED web admin. The link should work correctly now. Also, I have cleared up the issue with the site automatically putting people in the Block editor, now it will go into the Classic editor where you can choose either Classic or Divi.

I will be scheduling a class on MIXXX dj software and the Divi editor. Please let me know if you are interested and what good date/times are for you.

I want to give everyone a big THANK YOU for the excitement and interest in KPHREDland.  I’m having fun (when I’m not swearing at technology)

July 5, 2024 Updates

Hi All. Another great week for the growth of KPHRED Radio.

Greg Markelz, Animals Unplugged and I spoke with KAPY 104.9FM on Tuesday afternoon. I will be submitting a spreadsheet to them on Monday of our shows. Please update your listing in the Google Sheet. I will be adding all of the livestreams I produce in the spreadsheet so they have a full list. They would like to start broadcasting our shows in August. It also appears that we will be adding 4 of their shows to our schedule which would mean we have 25 news shows broadcasting each week on KPHRED. Once we go live with KAPY we will start launch the cmapign to get on Genesis Communication Network in Minnesota which provides content to 2000+ radio stations like KAPY.

I created a KPHRED Google Drive folder. Please create a show folder for your show in SHow Hosts folder. Add bio images, logos, show descriptions, bios and commercials in your folders. Add your 4 commercials to the Google drive.   We will be adding these commercials to the playlists and I would like everyone to play at least 1 commercial from every other show during their broadcasts. Assuming you record the commercial as a video first and then strip the audio. we will release the various video commercials across the various social media profiles associated with KPHRED/Linked Local Network.

I created a Show Host Social Media spreadsheet. Please add your social media links so everyone can connect. I will add the links to the social media profile page which is found when clicking on the Social Media Links to Follow but on this page. I’ve added some of the Facebook profiles. More to follow. Jeff Norris our ISP and owner of TCG Solutions is working on a development radio station server and expectes to deliver it by the 19th of July. This will faciliate software improvements and for those of you who want to go live you will be able to practice your setup on the development without interrupting normal broadcasts. An improved calendar and better Now playing info are priorities 1 & 2

GetMeRadio.com Update – By the end of next year they expect to be avalable on Apple Auto and Android Auto which would means people would be able to listen in their cars.

Over the next couple of weeks I will be adding KPHRED to over 2 dozen radio station directories so we get farther reach. After much research I have found that Ihertradio does accept internet radio stations to their app. Yes, this one is a huge priority.

The next KPHRED Prime Live is Saturday, June 19th from 10:45a pst to 12:30p pst. We will go live at 11:00a pst. The zoom room will be open at 10:00a pst for questions or training needs.

We will be adding Jim Boswell’s and Denise Stegall’s books to the store. What else do you sell that should be added to the store.

Greg Markelz and I are meeting with KAPY 104.9fm on Tuesday, July 2nd. Please have your pages updated by that point in time so I can give them your podcast for consideration. If we can get into KAPY then we have a good shot at crracking Genesis Communications which distributes content to 2000+ radio stations. 

June 13, 2024 News

I had started the station registration assuming it would take a couple of days to process. The Get Me Radio registration was playing KPHRED audio within a couple of minutes. I was blown away the system told me that Alexa, apple rv and android rv and firestick and ROKU would take a couple of hours.

This is the show page on ROKU. Love the QR code. I didn’t think it would happen so fast across so many platforms…which will hear Saturday’s launch event…if you have any of the above mentioned devices please search for the get me radio app

When I went to the KPHRED page on getmeradio.com:  https://www.getmeradio.com/stations/kphredradio-9968/

Then I scrolled down to see the Facebook integrationI saw at count of 4 listeners just from the initial posting
