Kadin McElwain:

As an autistic college student with a passion for advocacy, I’ve transformed my personal experiences into a powerful platform for raising autism awareness.
Navigating the world with autism has given me unique insights into the challenges and strengths associated with neurodiversity.
My journey through college and beyond has fueled my commitment to fostering a more inclusive and understanding society.
Currently, I am dedicated to using my voice to speak on behalf of the autistic community.
Through public speaking engagements, I share my story, highlight the realities of living with autism, and promote strategies for acceptance and support. My goal is to bridge gaps in understanding and inspire meaningful change by challenging stereotypes and celebrating neurodiversity.
I currently have over 100 media appearances under my belt, all of which I advocate for this cause.
Additionally, I’ve collaborated with several politicians, businesses, and organizations in order to help bring attention to this cause. Eventually, I hope to work with a non-profit centered around autism in order to help those like me get the resources they deserve.
Reach out to me if you’re interested in having me speak at your event or if you want to work with me to make the world a better place for those with autism.

Deanna Brakefield: My Story

This community holds a special place in my heart because of the make up of my family. Finding the right resources for our family has been a constant challenge. From practices taught to the providers themselves to insurance and scarcity of services and IEP’s.  We have fought the good fight, like many of you.

That’s why I launched Neurodivergent News—a resource for those who help, support, or are neurodivergent. In an age where people are searching for resources online and on the radio it has never been easier to bring together communities.
