Finding Beauty in Our Community
The Trickster Gallery in Schaumburg, has a mission of increasing the visibility and impact of contemporary cultural arts and education through all art media. It is a Native American owned and operated Arts Center, also exhibiting art from many cultures.
This Saturday, July 12, will be the Artist Opening Reception for myself, and Sports Artist, Cory J. Cravatta. Cory will be exhibiting autographed sports drawings and I will be showing works from nature with my exhibit Peaceful, Nature’s Whispering Voice. There will also be a flute concert and storytelling by Mark “Wandering Bear” Barger.
It is my pleasure to be exhibiting my works at our local gallery. Many of my works are inspired by the native landscapes in this area, from the smallest seed to the large oak savannah. It is embraced in a variety of media with detailed graphite pencil, soft pastels and rich watercolors.
I hope you join me as I celebrate nature and the creative spirit that is the Arts, this Saturday. Or stop on by when you can, and see how the arts can move mind, body and spirit.
