Join Marie Lazzara and Mike Boehler as they interview Wayne A. Kulick, Executive Director of Countryside Association for People with Disabilities and Jean Adaskevich, enrollment coordinator.

Founded in Palatine in 1954, the nonprofit’s mission is to advocate on behalf of persons with disabilities and their families and support them in their efforts to live and work successfully in their chosen community.

Services are offered with the goal of supporting the full development of each individual’s potential and achievement of his/her life goals. Additionally, services are directed at making available supports required for each family to care for their loved one with disabilities.

Kulick and Adaskevich will talk about Countryside’s formation, the services it offers as well as recently winning the Governor’s Home Town Award for Services and Mentorship, Mobilizing Countryside Volunteers in the Village of Palatine.
