I love to trumpet the positive results of face-to-face networking to build relationships, which is how business is conducted by entrepreneurs through multi-billion dollar corporations. And I love when the media gives me an opportunity to reach a larger and often different audience then through my blogs and speaking engagements.

So I want to extend a special thanks to Columnist Jin Kendall and the Daily Herald for its Sept. 2, 2013 publication of “Face-to-face networking remains key to new business.”

And, Jim, I appreciate your kind words about the success I have achieved as a “traditional” networker. My theory about networking is that if it works for you, don’t change it … add to it like with LinkedIn.
