Fractured Cliché: Big pill to swallow

Correct Cliché: Bitter pill to swallow

This one’s almost embarrassing.

While researching “Big pill to take” as the fractured version of “Big pill to swallow”, I discovered that “Big pill to swallow” WAS the fractured cliché.

I always check before writing these posts just in case I’m a little off the mark. Apparently this time, I was more than a little off.

I have to admit that when I found out, it was a big pill to swallow.

May the farce be with you!

Your IFF,

Pam

Talk about a big pill...

Now that’s a big pill…
